It does not have any additional charges like annual fee and late payment penalty fee. The downside of this card is that it does not have any rewards program. You also get charged with a 3% foreign transaction fee when you spend money overseas.
2. Citi Double Cash Card
Citi Double Cash Card offers 18 months introductory period, after which you will be charged with an APR interest rate of between 13.24% – 23.24%. You earn a 1% cash back on your purchases and another 1% cash back when you make the repayment. This means that you can earn 2% cash back if you promptly pay back the balance. It is the reason why the card is better compared to other cards that just offer a flat 1% cash back. Anyone with a good credit can easily be approved for the card. It charges a 3% balance transfer fee and you must spend at least $25 to get a cash back. Citi Double Cash Card does not have any annual fee.
3. Chase Freedom
Chase Freedom is also a great low interest card with interest rate ranging in between 14.24% – 23.24%. Cardholders are rewarded with a 5% cash back for up to $1,500 when spending money on quarterly bonus categories. The card offers a 1% cash back on other categories. It has zero annual fee but it charges a 3% foreign transaction fee. It is one of the few balance transfer cards with a sign up bonus.
The advantage of Chase Freedom card is that it offers a 15 months introductory period. The card has a long introductory period of 15 months, during which the interest rate APR is waived for both purchases and balance transfers. Chase Freedom is a good balance transfer card that allows you to earn rewards while repaying your credit card debt.
